Prisoner behind bars

The McGrath Institute for Church Life and the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center present Outcasts, the latest documentary from Grassroots Films (The Human Experience, Child 31). Outcasts follows the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal through Honduran prisons, England’s drug scene, Ireland’s Stab City, and a New York deathbed as they serve the world’s outcasts.

  • 11:15am reception at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center prior to the film screening (immediately following the 10am Mass at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart at Notre Dame)
  • 12pm screening of OUTCASTS film
  • Following the 60-minute film, Q&A with Grassroots film producer and co-founder, Joe Campo, and Franciscan Friar of the Renewal, Fr. Leo Fisher
