Joseph Wawrykow teaches in the Theology department at the University of Notre Dame, where he is also a fellow of the Medieval Institute. He is the author of God’s Grace and Human Action: ’Merit’ in the Theology of Thomas Aquinas (1995) and The Westminster Handbook to Thomas Aquinas (2005), and co-editor of Christ Among the Medieval Dominicans (1998) and The Theology of Thomas Aquinas (2005). He has published articles on such figures as Augustine, Bonaventure, and Henry of Ghent. His current work focuses on scholastic Christology in the second half of the thirteenth century.
